It has been said that in order to be a well-educated person in the English-speaking world, you must be familiar with three things: The Bible, Greek Mythology and Shakespeare. UU’s are usually pretty good at Shakespeare and Greek mythology, but sometimes we are not so conversant with the Bible. With this in mind, we present:
A Bible Class for UUs – Famous Figures, Part A: From Genesis to Moses
Tuesdays on March 20, 27 & April 3 @7 pm
This class, led by Rev. Byrd Tetzlaff, will consist of three sessions:
Session One: Origins The historical context, history of the book, who wrote it (and why), etc. And some of the creation stories.
Session Two: Famous Figures, Part A: From Genesis to Moses.
Session Three: Famous Figures, Part B: From Moses to Jesus.
