Overview of Lifespan Learning
The purpose of the Lifespan Learning committee is to provide educational and spiritual opportunities for adult members and friends of UUSB in subject area that are connected to our Unitarian Universalist values and principles. We have two major branches of our programming:
Educational
In keeping with our history as both Unitarians and Universalists, educating ourselves is an integral part of how we practice our faith. Many of our programs include opportunities for members and friends to educate one another on topics that call them. We also engage in more traditional classroom experiences as well as participating in programs offered by the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Spiritual
The spiritual lives of our members and friends are also critically important to the well-being of our community. Whatever your theological beliefs, our lifespan learning committee has something that will help nourish your spiritual side. Some of these programs work on developing our own sense of spiritual discipline while others help us connect with the natural world. Still others help us connect with the power of our spiritual ancestors.

The Lifespan Learning team is always interested in expanding our offerings. Things that are currently under consideration include a Social Justice Book Group and revisiting the Building Your Own Theology class.
