The corona virus has increased the hunger in our community – 1 in 4 children struggle with hunger and there are long lines at food banks. The Peace & Justice Committee of First Unitarian, South Bend, has responded with a food drive! The food will be delivered to the Broadway Christian Parish, who are continuing to serve breakfast and distribute food boxes during this challenging time. Especially needed are granola bars, fruit cups, soda crackers, canned soup and stew, canned meat and fish, canned beans and vegetables, and peanut butter.

Following social distancing guidelines, someone will pick up food from your porch on Saturday between 10:00am and noon.
