Children’s literature has always been a way for adults to teach the younger generations about right and wrong. From Aesop’s Fables to Grimm’s Fairy Tales, there are many stories offering our children morals from which to learn. What do the modern stories being written for our children (and us as adult readers as well) have to say about being a good person? Deb Carew will examine some modern day children’s literature and authors to share how our Unitarian Universalist Principles, and even models for social justice work, are quite prevalent in the literature of today.
