OWL Values

Although Our Whole Lives is secular, it embodies specific values. The program conveys clear messages about the following key sexuality topics including:

  • self worth
  • sexual health
  • responsibility
  • justice and inclusivity

Our Whole Lives acknowledges and respects the diversity of participants with respect to biological sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and disability status in addition to cultural and racial background. The activities and language used throughout the program have been carefully chosen to be as inclusive as possible of this human diversity.

First Unitarian Church offers OWL programing for different ages. Most recently the program was offered to middle school students. In the near future we will be offering a program for high school students. If interested, please contact Gail deSomer for the latest information gaildesomer@yahoo.com
