Members and friends are invited to share information, ideas, opinions, and other edifying materials. Each Sunday (except for holiday weekends or those with a potluck after the service, usually the first Sunday each month), a volunteer will lead a discussion about a topic of interest. The Forum will begin at 9:00am ET, and end around 10:15.

The Adult Forum schedule for the next few months looks like this:

• July 7 – Fourth of July weekend, No Adult Forum
• July 14 – Discussion of the Surgeon General Vivek Murthy’s latest public health recommendations on gun violence and use of social media, facilitator Emily Wetheral (Anne Mannix opening church and setting up Zoom)
• July 21 – What’s driving generations apart? A discussion of a TED talk by Scott Galloway, facilitator Lois Holm
• July 28 – Brownfields (land with industrial pollution) , facilitators Anne Mannix and Bob Asplund

• August 4 – A discussion of our new UU Values described by the acronym “JETPIG” (Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence and Generosity with Love at the center) and the rationale behind the changes from our seven principles, facilitator Dr. Louise Williams
• August 11 – A discussion of book and TED talk “Crossing Boundaries, A Traveler’s Guide to World Peace by Aziz Abu Sarah, about how to have transformative, sustainable, responsible travel experiences, facilitator Ann Hoewing
• August 18 – What do you believe? Would you describe yourself as a deist, theist, spiritualist, pagan, agnostic, atheist, Christian, Buddhist, etc.? This idea came out of our Covenant Conversations in the spring. We will also take a glance at a survey from around 10 years ago where the congregation was asked this same question, how do we compare?
