The pandemic year created an extra layer of loss in so many lives. While part of every human life, loss is usually something we tend to ignore or gloss over; to get past as quickly as possible. What if we responded differently? Simply accepting and exploring loss and grief as a place of possibility – capable of opening us to life abundant? Grief visits every one of us. Might we find within depth, resilience, and connection? Might loss be a path to possibilities? Let us explore the beauty of the dark side – and emerge into fully human selves.
This service has been prerecorded, as part of a virtual “pulpit swap” among Chicago-area UU ministers.
