At our core, we Unitarian Universalists believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and that includes honoring every form of love people bring to our community. Whether you identify as queer, polyamorous, straight, romantic, platonic, or anywhere in between—or whether you just want to celebrate some self-love—we welcome you this Valentine’s Day to our Love Is Love Dinner Date!

What to Expect
Join us for a delightful 4-course meal while enjoying beautiful live music with Ben Tovar! Our dinner includes appetizers, a fresh salad, your choice of chicken rigatoni or vegetarian lasagna, and a sweet selection of desserts. For those who would like to partake, we will also have both red and white wine available for $5 a glass. We’ll have room for groups, couples, platonic friends, and anyone who wants to celebrate love in all its forms.
When & Where
- Date: February 14th at 6:30pm
- Location: 801 E. Washington St. South Bend, IN 46617
Why Celebrate With Us?
It’s more dangerous than ever to be openly queer. In times like these, joy becomes a form of resistance, and love, especially love that doesn’t fit the narrow boxes of power, must be fiercely protected and boldly celebrated.
As Unitarian Universalists, we are called to build a world where every kind of love has room to thrive. This dinner is an act of defiance and of care—an expression of our shared values: radical inclusion, collective joy, and love that refuses to be legislated out of existence.
So bring a friend, a partner, a constellation of beloveds—or just your beautiful self—for a night of community, courage, and connection. Because in this house, Love is Love.
