The latest unemployment rate in South Bend was 20.2%.  We can’t solve all the problems that cause this unprecedented level of unemployment immediately.  But we can at least make sure that people have food to eat. So get ready for the next big food drive on July 11th.  The food will go to Broadway Christian, and they can also use things like jeans and t-shirts, socks and underwear, tennis shoes and work boots . In the food category: tuna, peanut butter, soup (pop-top cans are particularly helpful) are among the things that are most needed.   We will be contacting drivers and the drivers will be contacting you.  For any questions, or if you would like to leave out food to be picked up, contact Anne Mannix at amannix.nda@gmail.com  We plan to pick up by 10:00 am.
